University of Notre Dame Partnership

Since 2021, our partnership with the University of Notre Dame has connected global research with local action in Tunuyán — co-creating development strategies that are rooted in evidence, empathy, and community needs.

The alliance between The Vines Foundation and the University of Notre Dame, particularly with the Global Affairs program, serves as a pivotal partnership bridging academia and community engagement. Through this collaboration, students from the Global Affairs program have the opportunity to partake in internships and exchanges with companies worldwide. The Vines Foundation stands as one of the beneficiaries of this collaboration, welcoming these students to immerse themselves in the community work we undertake.

Our partnership with the University of Notre Dame offers a unique opportunity for students to delve into grassroots initiatives and gain firsthand experience in community development efforts. By participating in our programs and projects, students not only contribute to our mission of creating positive change but also broaden their understanding of global issues and their local manifestations.

Moreover, the collaboration extends beyond mere participation, as students actively engage in research, reports, and surveys aimed at better comprehending the needs of the community. Through their work alongside our team, they harness technical expertise and evidence-based approaches to formulate actionable insights and solutions. This symbiotic relationship not only enriches the educational experience of the students but also enhances the effectiveness and impact of our initiatives.

By leveraging the resources and expertise of the University of Notre Dame’s Global Affairs program, The Vines Foundation strengthens its capacity to address complex societal challenges and drive sustainable development in the communities we serve. Together, we strive to foster meaningful change and empower individuals to build brighter futures.
