Meeting Basic Needs

This initiative addresses urgent material needs—like shoes, school supplies, and winter clothing—for children and families living in vulnerable conditions.

Meeting Basic Needs with Dignity is about ensuring that children and families in the most precarious situations don’t face barriers to participation, learning, or safety due to a lack of essential items.

We:

– Distribute shoes to children who attend the dining programs we support
– Provide backpacks and school supplies for first graders in rural and underserved schools
– Coordinate winter clothing drives to help families through the coldest months

These actions are more than charity—they represent care, dignity, and opportunity. By removing small but significant obstacles, we help children stay in school, stay healthy, and feel valued.
