Community Gardens and Nurseries

These gardens, developed in partnership with INTA, promote environmental education, food sovereignty, and sustainable agriculture in communities facing hardship.

Our Community Gardens and Nurseries initiative brings together environmental stewardship and community resilience. In partnership with INTA (National Institute of Agricultural Technology), we develop gardens that provide access to fresh produce, empower local families, and encourage sustainable agricultural practices.

Many of the dining programs we support lack basic infrastructure like clean water or electricity. That’s why each garden is designed based on local conditions, with support from INTA in terms of seeds, tools, and training.

These gardens become more than a food source—they are spaces for community connection, education, and growth. Over time, they strengthen food sovereignty and offer long-term solutions to nutritional vulnerability.
