Our Work
The Vines Foundation works alongside the community of the Uco Valley to expand access to opportunity, strengthen local support systems, and invest in long-term wellbeing.
Our work includes community-based programs, educational initiatives, health support, and partnerships that respond to the evolving needs of Tunuyán and the surrounding region. As these efforts grow, we are also investing in the future through the development of the Community Center — a space designed to deepen impact and create new pathways to education, employment, and community connection.
The Community Center
The Vines Foundation is advancing its most ambitious long-term initiative: a permanent Community Center in Vista Flores, Tunuyán.
Designed to connect education in strategically important sectors with meaningful employment, this project represents a lasting investment in the people, workforce, and future of the Uco Valley. Construction is planned to begin in 2026 as program development continues in collaboration with the University of Notre Dame, local educators, and community partners.
Our Ongoing Programs
While we build for the future, our programs are already at work every day in the community.

Community Kitchens
We partner with local soup kitchens to provide regular, nutritious meals to children in vulnerable situations, supporting their development and promoting food security within their families.

Dog Shelter
Our shelter provides safe haven, medical care, and adoption opportunities for abandoned and stray dogs, working to ensure every animal receives a second chance.

Mobile Veterinary Unit for Spaying and Vaccination
This mobile program delivers veterinary care to remote areas and promotes responsible pet ownership through education and disease prevention, improving the lives of both animals and people.

Community Gardens and Nurseries
These gardens, developed in partnership with INTA, promote environmental education, food sovereignty, and sustainable agriculture in communities facing hardship.

University of Notre Dame Partnership
The Vines Foundation partners with the University of Notre Dame’s Keough School of Global Affairs to connect the Foundation’s mission of supporting sustainable development in Tunuyán to evidence-based solutions. TVF works with student research teams to identify, adapt, and implement successful models related to community health, nutrition, vocational training and economic development, and much more.

Meeting Basic Needs
This initiative addresses urgent material needs—like shoes, school supplies, and winter clothing—for children and families living in vulnerable conditions.
