As the school year begins in Argentina, many families face the challenge of sending their children to school without the basic supplies they need. For families living in vulnerable situations, the cost of a backpack, notebooks, pencils, and other essential items can be overwhelming — and for many, simply out of reach.
At The Vines Foundation, we believe that every child deserves to start school with the tools they need to learn, grow, and feel con dent. That’s why, in collaboration with 11 public schools across Tunuyán, our team worked closely with local teachers and principals to identify 80 rst-grade students who needed support the most. Thanks to the generosity of our Vines friends and family, we were able to provide each of them with a brand-new backpack lled with school supplies selected speci cally for their grade level.
The excitement on the children’s faces as they received their backpacks was unforgettable — a mix of pride, joy, and anticipation for what the year might bring. For many of these students, it was the rst time they had something of their own to bring to school. For their parents, it meant one less worry and the reassurance that their children would be able to fully participate in class, just like their peers.
This initiative is about more than school supplies. It’s about giving children a sense of belonging, dignity, and the chance to succeed from the very beginning of their educational journey.
