The Community Center
We are establishing a permanent hub in Vista Flores to bridge the gap between local talent and economic opportunity. By connecting residents with professional training, we are building the foundation for long-term regional growth.
The Problem & The Solution
From Seasonal Work to Stable Careers
While the Uco Valley’s hospitality industry is growing, many local families remain trapped in cycles of seasonal agricultural work. This disconnect creates a paradox: a shortage of trained professionals in a region full of potential talent. The Community Center solves this by providing the vocational training residents need to secure year-round, stable employment.
Training for Real Opportunities
The Center’s educational model will go beyond classroom instruction. Students will develop professional skills, technical English, and hands-on experience through a structured pathway that connects learning directly with the workplace. By integrating education with real industry exposure, graduates will be prepared to enter the workforce with both confidence and practical experience.
The academic offer will be designed to cover the key areas of hotel and tourism operations through five specialized training tracks, reflecting the needs of the regional labor market. These tracks are currently being defined and refined as part of the curriculum development process.

Assistant Chef & Kitchen Support
Hygiene, mise en place, cooking techniques, and service timing.

Food & Beverage Service
Table service, protocol, and introductory Sommelier skills.

Housekeeping
Cleaning standards, organization, and discretion for luxury hospitality.

Reception & Front Desk
Reservation management, guest relations, and conflict resolution.

Tour Guide & Experiences
Storytelling, group leadership, and cultural/adventure tourism.
While capital fundraising is underway, academic development is already in progress. The Foundation is working in active collaboration with the University of Notre Dame to research and design the programs, ensuring that once the Center opens, the curriculum will be fully developed and ready to launch from day one.
